The full moon will be red over the campus of the Saint-Elizabeth school for girls. Miles Sheffield, the biology professor, is experiencing ancient impulses that he thought were gone forever: homicidal impulses! Of course, Miles is excessively demanding with his students but they don't pay attention, they are thinking about boyfriends. But Sheriff Desmond is concerned about the disappearance of two young couples. How could he know that Miles is a dangerous psychopath? How could he guess that Virginia, the professor's wife, makes him crazy with jealousy and frustration by parading around with her occasional lovers ?
