Uobuka is a coastal town just like countless other rural fishing villages: the people are nice, the seafood is great & the population is shrinking. To tackle the population decline, the local government hosts six convicts in a trial for a new parole program. Civil servant Tsukisue is tasked with resettling the newcomers & ensuring their histories are kept secret. However it doesn’t take long for other residents to realise something isn’t quite right.
