A beautiful drama about two strangers on a life-altering train journey that has won awards and critical acclaim since debuting at Cannes 2021. In 1990s Moscow, Finnish student Laura undertakes the long train journey to Murmansk to look at ancient petroglyphs. In compartment 6, she encounters her companion on the journey: Vadim, a drunken lout who immediately insults her. But as time passes the two form an unexpected bond. Director Juho Kuosmanen has made a sparkling and inventive film about the depth and power of human connection.
