One of the most controversial and influential films ever made returns to cinemas in its definitive form.
Tickets are now on sale for The Devils, the uncut, unfiltered 4K restoration of Ken Russell’s provocative 1971 masterpiece. Assembled from the original camera negative, this new restoration presents Russell’s definitive vision by referencing the edit he privately constructed in 2004.
A charismatic 17th-century French priest becomes the target of a sexually obsessed nun’s witchcraft accusations, which corrupt church and state officials are all too happy to exploit.
