The story begins with Mrs. Nhi, the eldest daughter-in-law of the family, who decides to take advantage of her mother-in-law's death anniversary to bring together all four sisters—the biological children of the family. During the gathering, she announces her plan to use her own money to renovate the aging communal house before the impending storm arrives. However, this decision sparks internal discord within the family, leading to conflicts and disagreements among the sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. As tensions rise, the facade of harmony between the sisters starts to crumble, gradually uncovering long-hidden truths, buried secrets, and deep emotional wounds. Will the fragile bond between the sisters survive, or will it shatter under the weight of the storm—both literal and metaphorical? And will the old, dilapidated "house" stand strong amidst the chaos?
