First Night Nerves
All eyes are on Hong Kong City Hall as rival actors, veteran thespian Xiuling and movie star Yuwen, share the stage for the first time. Will the two drama queens get through rehearsals unscathed? Stanley Kwan, one of Asia's few openly gay directors, creates a fun, feisty female-centered drama. Starring real-life Cantopop Queen Sammi Cheng and Gigi Leung, Kwan's FIRST NIGHT NERVES is also a love letter to Hong Kong cinema and melodrama.
