Let Him Go (M)
Following the loss of their son, retired sheriff George Blackledge (Kevin Costner) and his wife Margaret (Diane Lane) leave their Montana ranch to rescue their young grandson. When they discover that he is in the clutches of a dangerous family living off the grid in the Dakotas, George and Margaret must fight for the survival of their family.
Happiest Season (M)
Meeting your girlfriend’s family for the first time can be tough. Planning to propose at her family’s annual Christmas dinner - until you realize that they don’t even know she’s gay - is even harder. When Abby (Kristen Stewart) learns that Harper (Mackenzie Davis) has kept their relationship a secret from her family, she begins to question the girlfriend she thought she knew. Happiest Season is a holiday romantic comedy that hilariously captures the range of emotions tied to wanting your family’s acceptance, being true to yourself, and trying not to ruin Christmas.
Misbehaviour (M)
In 1970, the Miss World competition took place in London, hosted by US comedy legend, Bob Hope. At the time, Miss World was the most-watched TV show on the planet with over 100 million viewers. Claiming that beauty competitions demeaned women, the newly formed Women’s Liberation Movement achieved overnight fame by invading the stage and disrupting the live broadcast of the competition. Not only that, when the show resumed, the result caused uproar: the winner was not the Swedish favourite but Miss Grenada, the first black woman to be crowned Miss World. In a matter of hours, a global audience had witnessed the patriarchy driven from the stage and the Western ideal of beauty turned on its head.
All My Life (M)
A couple's wedding plans are thrown off course when the groom is diagnosed with liver cancer.
Fatman (MA15+)
Spoiled, rich kid, 12-year-old, Billy Wenan lives with his ailing grandmother and pines for attention from his absentee father. He rules the house with an iron fist and shows no remorse when being cruel to the hired help. On Christmas morning, after receiving a lump of coal in his stocking, Billy decides to hire a hitman, known only as Skinny Man, to kill Santa. Santa, also known as Chris Cringle, is in the middle of a financial struggle. The rising number of naughty has caused his government subsidy to slide below his current budget. Working along-side his faithful and pragmatic wife, Ruth, together, they fight to keep the lights on in the workshop and the elves employed. Reaching the end of their rope, they're forced to enter a two-month contract with the U.S. military. As Skinny Man makes his way toward Chris, we realize he harbors a twisted personal vendetta of his own. And when their two world's collide, Chris must rise to the occasion to keep the Christmas spirit - and himself - alive.
Freaky (MA15+)
Prepare to get Freaky with a twisted take on the body-swap movie when a teenage girl switches bodies with a relentless serial killer. Seventeen-year-old Millie Kessler (Kathryn Newton, Blockers, HBO’s Big Little Lies) is just trying to survive the bloodthirsty halls of Blissfield High and the cruelty of the popular crowd. But when she becomes the newest target of The Butcher (Vince Vaughn), her town’s infamous serial killer, her senior year becomes the least of her worries. When The Butcher’s mystical ancient dagger causes him and Millie to wake up in each other’s bodies, Millie learns that she has just 24 hours to get her body back before the switch becomes permanent and she’s trapped in the form of a middle-aged maniac forever. The only problem is she now looks like a towering psychopath who’s the target of a city-wide manhunt while The Butcher looks like her and has brought his appetite for carnage to Homecoming. With some help from her friends – ultra-woke Nyla, ultra-fabulous Joshua and her crush Booker – Millie races against the clock to reverse the curse while The Butcher discovers that having a female teen body is the perfect cover for a little Homecoming killing spree.
In remote Western Australia, two estranged brothers, Colin (Sam Neill) and Les (Michael Caton), are at war. Raising separate flocks of sheep descended from their family’s prized bloodline, the two men work side by side yet are worlds apart. When Les’s prize ram is diagnosed with a rare and lethal illness, authorities order a purge of every sheep in the valley. While Colin attempts to stealthily outwit the powers that be, Les opts for angry defiance. But can the warring brothers set aside their differences and have a chance to reunite their family, save their herd, and bring their community back together?
Honest Thief (M)
Wanting to lead an honest life, a notorious bank robber turns himself in, only to be double-crossed by two ruthless FBI agents. To clear his name, he must fight back.
Pinocchio (M)
In this new imagining of the iconic classic, Matteo Garrone returns to the authentic roots of the Pinocchio story. With this ground-breaking live action film shot in stunning Italian locations, Garrone creates a rich fantasy world filled with luminous, funny and touching moments. Academy Award® winning actor Roberto Benigni plays Geppetto, an old woodcarver who creates a puppet. But something magical happens – the cheeky puppet begins to talk, walk and eat like any young boy. Geppetto calls him Pinocchio and brings him up as his son.
The Comeback Trail (M)
Producer Max Barber (Robert De Niro) is in debt to mob boss Reggie Fontaine (Morgan Freeman) after his latest film bombs. With his life at stake, Max produces a new film, all to kill his lead in a stunt so he can rake in the insurance. But when Max casts Duke Montana (Tommy Lee Jones), he never expects the old drunk to be revitalised by being in front of the camera. Unable to kill Duke in a basic stunt, Max puts him into ever more dangerous situations. And as Duke survives stunt after stunt, Max ends up making the best movie of his career.
