Film Synopsis
Downton Abbey (PG)
The continuing story of the Crawley family, wealthy owners of a large estate in the English countryside in the early 20th century.
Ad Astra (M)
Astronaut Roy McBride must undertake a harrowing journey to the edge of our solar system when his long-lost scientist father seems to have resurfaced despite having been declared dead many years ago. His reappearance appears to be connected to a series of mysterious explosions and a top-secret military project. As McBride makes his way across a series of increasingly dangerous outposts on the Moon and Mars, forces converge to stop him from finding answers while another impending explosion threatens to destroy life as we know it.
Abominable (G)
A magical Yeti must return to his family.
Dora & the Lost City of Gold (PG)
Having spent most of her life exploring the jungle with her parents, nothing could prepare Dora (Isabela Moner) for her most dangerous adventure ever — High School. Always the explorer, Dora quickly finds herself leading Boots (her best friend, a monkey), Diego (Jeffrey Wahlberg), a mysterious jungle inhabitant (Eugenio Derbez), and a rag tag group of teens on a live-action adventure to save her parents (Eva Longoria, Michael Peña) and solve the impossible mystery behind a lost city of gold.
The Angry Birds Movie 2 (PG)
The flightless angry birds and the scheming green piggies take their beef to the next level in The Angry Birds Movie 2! When a new threat emerges that puts both Bird and Pig Island in danger, Red (Jason Sudeikis), Chuck (Josh Gad), Bomb (Danny McBride), and Mighty Eagle (Peter Dinklage) recruit Chuck’s sister Silver (Rachel Bloom) and team up with pigs Leonard (Bill Hader), his assistant Courtney (Awkwafina), and techpig Garry (Sterling K. Brown) to forge an unsteady truce and form an unlikely superteam to save their homes.
Rambo: Last Blood (R18+)
Rambo goes up against a Mexican cartel in what's reported to be his last adventure.
IT: Chapter Two (MA15+)
Twenty-seven years later, the Losers Club have grown up and moved away, until a devastating phone call brings them back.
Good Boys (MA15+)
Three sixth grade boys ditch school and embark on an epic journey while carrying accidentally stolen drugs, being hunted by teenage girls, and trying to make their way home in time for their first kissing party.
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (MA15+)
Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood visits 1969 Los Angeles, where everything is changing, as TV star Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt) make their way around an industry they hardly recognize anymore. The ninth film from the writer-director features a large ensemble cast and multiple storylines in a tribute to the final moments of Hollywood’s golden age.
Palm Beach (M)
Lifelong friends reunite for a party at Sydney's Palm Beach.
The Map to Paradise (PG)
Travel to the underwater lands of ice and corals to discover the birth of a movement to protect the sea. Through the eyes of a prince, a president, a pirate and even an island chief, see how a bountiful underwater paradise can thrive once more; paradise it is more than just a dream.
Armstrong (G)
ARMSTRONG is a dramatic and emotional documentary that features never-before-seen family home-movie footage, along with still and moving images that chronicle Neil Armstrong’s incredible life. With the support of the Armstrong family, including his two sons Rick and Mark, the film details his near-death experiences as a fighter pilot in Korea, his test pilot days, the drama and excitement of the Gemini 8 and Apollo 11 missions, and the challenges that followed his extraordinary fame.
The Keeper (M)
Based on an incredible true story, THE KEEPER follows Bert Trautmann (David Kross, The Reader), a German prisoner of war sent to Northern England at the end of WWII, who went on to become an English Football legend. While imprisoned at the POW camp he meets Margaret (Freya Mavor, The Sense of an Ending) and her father Jack (John Henshaw, Stan & Ollie, Downton Abbey), the manager of the local football team. Impressed by Bert's exceptional talent as a goal-keeper, Jack recruits Bert to play for the local team. Despite hostility on and off the field, a love slowly blossoms between Margaret and Bert. To the outrage of Man City fans, many of whom are Jewish, Bert is signed by the club as their new star keeper. Bert’s difficult path to acceptance takes an incredible turn when he wins over thousands of supporters by taking the club to victory in the 1956 FA Cup Final and playing on despite breaking his neck. The Keeper is an extraordinary love story between a young English woman and a German PoW, who together overcome prejudice, outrage and tragedy.
