Sex and the City 2 follows the latest exploits of the famous Manhattan foursome: Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte. Carrie and Big have now been married for two years. Life is good for the girls, but the traditional roles of marriage and motherhood lack a certain "sparkle". So, it is decided, the remedy lies in a glamorous, sun-drenched luxury holiday in Abu Dhabi. But as their relationships continue to falter in a foreign land, their holiday may prove more of an adventure outing. Guest stars Liza Minnelli, Penelope Cruz and Miley Cyrus. Sarah Jessica Parker has described the film as "a light-hearted caper, like a souffle".
